Once asked, "How does a nice Italian girl from Philly end up in Acupuncture school?" Well here is the answer...After experiencing the "never-ending flu" back in the 80's, I had been given a  diagnosis of CFS  (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), fibromyalgia, and fevers of unknown origin. I saw twelve specialists at major University hospitals who all decided I had 'nothing wrong' one even suggested that maybe a new dress and a night out to a lovely dinner might help me feel better!

After four years, and many tests, my family doctor decided to test me for a new disease he heard about at a conference "Lyme disease"; and there it was a positive result in its most advanced stage of disease. After IV Therapy for the Lyme I still had many problems and was told to by the doctors at Penn I could be permanently disabled. One young doctor suggested that I try acupuncture. I didn't even know what it was but at 24 permanent disability was not an option, so off I went to find out about Acupuncture. Well I did find out about it and I tried it, for me it was a miracle, a God sent that gave me my life back.  The pain started to subside, the swelling went down, the headaches and fevers lessened.  I already had a college degree and a career but I knew I wanted to go back to school to study Acupuncture so I could help others the way I was helped. Acupuncture is a 3 year full time study with your last year spent in the school clinic treating patients. There is more to this story and I would be glad to share it with you if you are interested, just ask me when you come in.

Acupuncture can be new and a bit scary to many people, I have been told that my gift is that i can put people at ease with my gentle, compassionate way and caring treatments. I can also identify with those who've been experiencing frustration with long-term pain or illness with a lack of relief.

For more information and to schedule appointments you can reach me at Eagle Acupuncture: 610-304-0705, the best way to reach me is via text as I can not answer the phone when in seesion with patients.
